How to Use Hanbot: 2PC Setup Guide for League
Set up Hanbot for League of Legends step by step: the second PC, the Vanguard Emulator, the launch order, the overlay and fixes when Hanbot does not attach.

Hanbot runs on two computers. Get the order right once and every game after that starts by itself.
Hanbot is a League of Legends script built for a 2PC setup. Your gaming PC plays League as usual, and a second PC runs our Vanguard Emulator, which keeps the injection away from the machine Vanguard watches. This guide walks through the first setup, the launch order for every session, and what to check when Hanbot does not show up in game.
What you need before you start
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Gaming PC | Windows 10 or 11, with League installed |
| Second PC | Any Windows 10 or 11 desktop or laptop |
| Network | Both PCs on the same local network |
| Hanbot key | 1 day to try the setup, 30 days for regular play |
| Vanguard Emulator key | 7 days, 30 days or lifetime; it must be active whenever you play |
The two keys are separate purchases, and both must be active at the same time. Hanbot without the emulator is not a cheaper way to play: started on a single PC, it gets accounts banned.
Why two PCs?
Vanguard is a kernel-level anti-cheat that starts with Windows on the PC where League runs. A single-PC script has to hide from it on that same machine. The 2PC setup moves the injection to a second computer instead, so the part Vanguard would look for is not on the gaming PC. Our anti-cheat overview explains Vanguard in more detail.
Step 1: download the loader on both PCs
Sign in to your member portal on each computer and download the loader from Downloads. On both machines, add the loader's folder to your antivirus exclusions, then right-click the loader and choose Run as Administrator. Paste your key when it asks.
Step 2: start the Vanguard Emulator on the second PC
- In the loader on the second PC, pick Vanguard Emulator.
- Make sure both computers are on the same local network. A cable is steadier than Wi-Fi if you have the choice.
- Start the emulator and leave it running. It has to be up before League starts on the gaming PC.
Step 3: inject Hanbot on the gaming PC
- Close League completely, client included. Check the system tray, not just the window.
- In the loader on the gaming PC, pick Hanbot.
- Press Inject and let the loader confirm.
Step 4: open League and play
Start League from the normal Riot client. Hanbot attaches as the game loads, without any further input from you. Once you are in a match, F5 shows or hides the Hanbot overlay.
The launch order for every session
After the first setup, each session is the same four moves:
- Check the status page: Hanbot and the Vanguard Emulator should both show Online.
- Start the emulator on the second PC.
- Inject Hanbot on the gaming PC while League is closed.
- Open League.
Most problems come from changing this order, usually by opening League before the emulator is running.
Your first games with Hanbot
Hanbot gives you a prediction engine for skill-shots, evade with exact pathing, an orbwalker that handles kiting, last hits and spacing, and champion logic that casts from a profile built for each champion. Every skin and a wider camera are included.
A few habits make the first days smoother:
- Try your champion in the Practice Tool first. It is the quickest way to see what the profile does before it matters.
- Start with the champion profile as it comes and change one setting at a time, so you know what made the difference.
- Play the way a person plays. Perfect dodges every fight and nonstop map-wide reactions stand out in replays and reports.
- Do not play while the status page shows Hanbot or the emulator as Updating, usually for a while after a League patch.
When Hanbot does not attach
The overlay never appears
- Check that the emulator is running on the second PC and was started before League.
- Confirm both PCs are on the same local network, for example by checking that both use the same router.
- Close League fully, inject again on the gaming PC, then reopen League.
The loader will not inject
- Run the loader as Administrator on both PCs.
- Make sure the antivirus exclusion covers the loader's folder and has not been removed by an update.
- Check that both keys are still active in your member portal.
It worked yesterday and stopped today
League has probably been patched. Look at the status page; when Hanbot or the emulator shows Updating, wait for it to return to Online. Our post on patch day explains what happens in the meantime, and the loader errors guide covers the common error messages.
Questions people ask
Can I run Hanbot on one PC?
No. Hanbot is designed around the Vanguard Emulator on a second PC. Run on its own, it gets accounts banned.
Does the second PC need to be powerful?
No. It does not run League. Any desktop or laptop with Windows 10 or 11 can run the emulator.
Can the emulator help after a Van 152 ban?
It is built to help with Van 152 and similar League hardware bans, though no tool can promise that for every case. Our guide what is an HWID spoofer explains hardware bans and the other ways back in.
Is Hanbot safe from bans?
No script is ban-proof. The 2PC setup keeps the injection away from the PC Vanguard watches, but an account can still be banned for how it plays. Read bans and risk before your first game.
Hanbot, Titan or PV?
If you only have one PC, Hanbot is not the right pick. Our comparison Titan, PV or Hanbot shows which League script fits which setup.
