Glossary: ESP, Orbwalker, HWID and 30 More Terms

Product pages are easier to read when the words are not a puzzle. Here is every term we use, in one place, in plain language.

Terms are grouped by topic. If a word on a product page is not here, tell us in support and we will add it.

Shooters

  • Aimbot: moves your aim toward a target for you, with settings for how fast and how smoothly.
  • Aim assist: a lighter form of the same idea that nudges rather than snaps.
  • FOV (field of view): the circle around your crosshair inside which the aimbot is allowed to act. Smaller means subtler.
  • Smoothing: how gradually the aim moves. Higher smoothing looks more like a human hand.
  • Bone or hitbox selection: which part of the target the aim goes for, such as head or chest.
  • Triggerbot: fires automatically when your crosshair is already over a target. It does not move your aim.
  • Recoil control (RCS): counteracts the gun's kick so sprays stay tighter.
  • ESP (extra-sensory perception): draws information on screen that you could not otherwise see, such as players through walls, names, health or distance.
  • Box ESP / skeleton ESP: two ways of drawing players, as a rectangle or as lines along the body.
  • Loot ESP: marks items rather than players. Common in survival games like Rust and DayZ.
  • Radar: a mini-map showing positions around you.
  • Colorbot: an aim tool that works from what is on screen, looking for enemy highlight colours, instead of reading game data. See our article on the difference.

League of Legends

  • Script: a package of helpers for League, such as Titan LoL Script.
  • Orbwalker: times your attacks and movement between them so you lose no damage and no time.
  • Last hitting: landing the final hit on a minion for gold. Orbwalkers help with this.
  • Kiting: attacking while moving away or around an enemy.
  • Evade: moves your champion out of the way of incoming skill shots.
  • Prediction: estimates where a moving target will be, so your skill shots land there.
  • Activator: uses items and summoner spells for you at the right moment.
  • Humanizer: adds small delays and variation so actions look less mechanical.
  • Skin hack: shows a skin you do not own. Only you see it.

Anti-cheat and system terms

  • Anti-cheat: software a game ships with to find and punish cheating. Our overview of anti-cheat systems explains the main ones.
  • Vanguard: Riot's anti-cheat for League of Legends and Valorant. It starts with Windows.
  • EAC, BattlEye, Ricochet: anti-cheats used by other games, for example Rust, PUBG, DayZ and Call of Duty.
  • Kernel: the core of Windows. Kernel-level anti-cheats run with the highest system rights.
  • Bypass: a companion tool that some products need so they can run alongside an anti-cheat, like our Vanguard Bypass.
  • Emulator: in our lineup, the Vanguard Emulator, a component of 2PC setups.
  • 2PC: a setup that uses two computers, one to play on and one to run part of the tool.
  • Loader: the small program that checks your key and starts the tool.
  • Injection: the moment the loader starts the tool together with the game.

Accounts and bans

  • HWID (hardware ID): an identifier built from your PC's parts. Games use it to recognise a machine.
  • HWID ban: a ban placed on the machine rather than only the account, so a new account on the same PC is blocked too.
  • Spoofer: a tool that changes the identifiers a game can read, such as our HWID Spoofer.
  • Van codes: error codes Vanguard shows. Some point to setup problems, some to bans.
  • Main / alt: your primary account versus a secondary one.

Store terms

  • Key: what you buy. It unlocks a tool for a set time.
  • Day, week, month, lifetime: key lengths. Our guide on choosing a key length covers when each fits.
  • Premium config: a ready-made set of settings sold as an add-on.
  • Status: whether a tool is Online, Updating or in Maintenance, shown on the status page.
  • Balance: money held in your Titan account to pay for keys, topped up on the wallet page.
